Provided is a technique for promoting the production of aglycones by decomposing resveratrol glucosides, preferably resveratrol glucosides and isoflavone glucosides, thereby improving in vivo absorbability. Bifidobacterium genus bacteria are used as an active ingredient of an aglycone production promoter used for promoting aglycon production from glycosides. The aglycon production promoter is contained in a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention and/or treatment of a disease in which an aglycone effectively acts, or a food or drink composition for aglycon production. |
