abstract |
The present invention provides a circular polarizing plate and an organic electroluminescence display device. When the circular polarizing plate is applied to a display device, the external light reflection and color tone change during visual recognition from an oblique direction can be further suppressed. The circular polarizing plate of the present invention has a polarizer, a λ/2 plate and a λ/4 plate in this order, and the angle formed by the absorption axis of the polarizer and the in-plane slow axis of the λ/4 plate is in the range of 20° to 70° The Nz factor of the λ/4 plate is 0.30 to 0.70, the absorption axis of the polarizer is orthogonal or parallel to the in-plane slow axis of the λ/2 plate, and the absorption axis of the polarizer is in the plane of the λ/2 plate. When the slow axis is orthogonal, the Nz factor of the λ/2 plate is 0.10 to 0.40, and when the absorption axis of the polarizer is parallel to the in-plane slow axis of the λ/2 plate, the Nz factor of the λ/2 plate is 0.60~0.90. |
