The present invention provides a lithium secondary battery comprising a positive electrode and a negative electrode having specific compositions and physical properties, and a non-aqueous electrolyte solution containing at least one compound selected from the following substances in an amount of 10ppm or more, the substances include: cyclic siloxane compounds represented by formula (1), fluorosilane compounds represented by formula (2), compounds represented by formula (3), compounds having S-F bonds in the molecule, nitric acid salts, nitrites, monofluorophosphates, difluorophosphates, acetates and propionates. The lithium secondary battery has high capacity, long life, and high output.
