abstract |
A method for analyzing components is provided. The method comprises the steps of: (iii) providing electrophoretic or thermophoretic motion of the component into the second fluid stream; (iv) diverting a portion of the first fluid stream or a portion of the second fluid stream, or diverting a portion of the first fluid flow and a portion of the second fluid flow, wherein the diverted portion is a third fluid flow comprising the component; (v) aligning the third fluid flow with the fourth fluid flow contact, thereby forming a laminar flow; (vi) providing diffusion of the components into the fourth fluid flow. |
