Methods of inhibiting microorganisms in water systems |
abstract |
The present invention provides a method for inhibiting microorganisms in a water system. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for effectively suppressing microorganisms in a water system. The method for suppressing microorganisms in a water system is to use a chemical containing a combination of a chlorine-based oxidizing agent and sulfamic acid or a salt thereof, or a chlorinated sulfamic acid or a salt thereof, together with an inorganic or organic sludge control agent. It is preferable that this method has the process of adding a chemical|medical agent simultaneously with or before adding a sludge control agent. For example, it may have the process of adding a chemical|medical agent and a sludge control agent when a sludge failure is detected. |
