abstract |
The present invention provides pellets containing water and an ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based copolymer, in the terminal structure of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based copolymer, with respect to the content (X) of carboxylic acids and the content of lactone rings (Y) The total amount (Z) of , the lactone ring content ratio (Y/Z) is 60 mol % or more, and the water content of the pellets is 0.5 wt % or less. The pellets are excellent in thermal stability such as excellent thermal decomposition inhibition even at high temperature, and do not generate odor or color even when processed at high temperature. |
