titleOfInvention | Fragments of Nkx3.2 and pharmaceutical compositions containing the same as active ingredients |
abstract | The present invention relates to Nkx3.2 fragments with improved stability in the histopathological environment of arthritis and pharmaceutical compositions containing them as active ingredients. The Nkx3.2 fragments of the present invention possess similar levels of NF-κB activation and Siah1 resistance to proteolysis as the full-length Nkx3.2. Furthermore, Nkx3.2 fragments are at least 10-fold more effective in degenerative arthritis treatment than Nkx3.2 in in vivo efficacy evaluations based on animal models. Therefore, the Nkx3.2 fragment can be advantageously used for the prevention or treatment of arthritis. |
