vehicle fuel cell system |
abstract |
The present disclosure provides a "fuel cell system for a vehicle". A fuel cell system and method of controlling the fuel cell system are provided. The fuel cells generate electricity, and the coolant system provides coolant flow through the stack. The controller is configured to command the coolant system to circulate coolant through the battery stack to reduce the battery stack in response to at least one of an ambient temperature and a coolant temperature falling below a threshold after a vehicle shutdown command or event ice formed in the stack, after which the fuel cell stack was ordered to be flushed. |
