titleOfInvention | Multi-pole electrolytic cell for alkaline water electrolysis and hydrogen production method |
abstract | The purpose of the present invention is to maintain excellent electrolysis efficiency and high purity of generated gas even in a high-density current operation in a bipolar type electrolytic cell for alkaline water electrolysis using a porous membrane containing inorganic particles as a separator. The present invention relates to a multi-pole electrolytic cell comprising a combination of a plurality of sets of anodes, cathodes, and separators disposed between the anodes and the cathodes, wherein at least one of the anodes and the cathodes is a porous electrode having an average pore diameter of 10nm to 200nm, and the separators are porous membranes containing inorganic particles having an average primary particle diameter of 20nm to 300nm, and a method for producing hydrogen. |
