titleOfInvention Methods for predicting the prognosis of breast cancer patients
abstract The present invention relates to a method for predicting the prognosis of a breast cancer patient, and more particularly, to a method for predicting the prognosis of a breast cancer patient, the method comprising the steps of: (a) measuring tropism in a biological sample obtained from a breast cancer patient Milk lipoprotein subfamily 3 member A2 (BTN3A2) immune-related gene and one or more selected from ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2C (UBE2C), topoisomerase 2α (TOP2A), ribonucleotide reductase M2 (RRM2) , the mRNA expression levels of proliferation-related genes in the group consisting of forkhead box M1 (FOXM1) and proliferation marker Ki-67 (MKI67); (b) normalizing the mRNA expression levels measured in step (a); and (c) predicting the prognosis of breast cancer by the combination of the one or more proliferation-related genes and the immune-related genes normalized in step (b), wherein predicting the prognosis of breast cancer results in overexpression of the proliferation-related genes The prognosis is poor when the immune-related genes are overexpressed and the prognosis is good when the immune-related genes are overexpressed. The present invention relates to a method for predicting the prognosis of breast cancer using a gene group shown to be significantly associated with the prognosis of breast cancer, and clinical information, the method of the present invention can more accurately predict the prognosis regarding whether a breast cancer patient will have future metastasis , which can be used for the purpose of providing evidence for future breast cancer treatment directions.
