abstract |
Embodiments provide systems, methods, and apparatuses for a drug delivery device. The device comprises: a dose selector for selecting an amount of medicament to be delivered; a first capacitive sensor adjacent the dose selector and operable to detect linear displacement of the dose selector during drug delivery; a screw coupled to the dose selector; a second capacitive sensor adjacent to the screw and operable to detect linear displacement of the screw during drug delivery; and a processor coupled to the first and second capacitive sensors and operable to determine an amount of drug actually delivered by the drug delivery device. Numerous other aspects are provided. |
