abstract The invention discloses a synthetic method of water-based unsaturated polyester quartz stone resin. In the method provided by the invention, the synthetic raw materials comprise polyhydric alcohol, binary/ternary acid anhydride, dibasic acid or ester containing hydrophilic sulfonic acid groups, deionized water, a cross-linking agent, a polymerization inhibitor, an antioxidant and the like. The synthesis method provided by the invention is mainly characterized in that the sulfonate group with strong hydrophilicity is introduced to block the high molecular chain segment to synthesize the water-based unsaturated polyester quartz stone resin with low styrene content.
