abstract The invention discloses a preparation method of 3-methylquinoxaline-2 (1H) -ketone compounds, which comprises the steps of carrying out visible light catalytic reaction on a quinoxalinone compound and iodobenzene diacetate under the action of a photocatalyst to obtain a 3-methylquinoxalinone compound; compared with the prior art, the synthesis method has the advantages that 1) the used quinoxaline-2 (1H) -ketone derivative is cheap and easy to obtain in raw materials and is favorable for reducing the cost, 2) the reaction can be carried out at room temperature by illumination, the conditions are mild, the product can be obtained in one step, the reaction yield is high, the operation is environment-friendly and is favorable for industrial production, and 3) the method has good applicability to functional groups and can obtain various 3-methyl quinoxalinone compound derivatives.
