abstract | The invention belongs to the technical field of electrocatalysts, and discloses a carbon-coated Janus structure metal/metal oxide composite catalyst, and preparation and application thereof. The method comprises the following steps: using a direct current power supply of a two-electrode system, taking a conductive substrate for depositing the composite catalyst as a cathode, taking a solution containing a transition metal compound as an electrolyte, and performing cathode plasma electrodeposition by adopting a cathode plasma electrodeposition technology, wherein the composite catalyst is deposited on the surface of the conductive substrate; the solvent in the electrolyte is organic solvent and water. The catalyst comprises metal/oxide with a Janus structure, and the structure provides more heterojunction interfaces and improves the activity of the catalyst; the outer layer of the metal/oxide with the Janus structure is coated with a carbon thin layer which plays a role in protection and improves the stability of the catalyst. The method is simple, and the prepared catalyst has good activity and stability and is used in the field of hydrogen preparation by electrolyzing water. |
