abstract | The invention discloses a method for screening a 4-tube balanced terahertz frequency tripler based on direct current detection, and relates to the technical field of frequency multipliers. The method comprises the following steps: adjusting a test gear of the multimeter to a diode test gear, firstly connecting a red probe of the multimeter with a core of an SMA head, connecting a black probe of the multimeter with a cavity shell of a frequency multiplier, and displaying the starting voltage of one diode string by the multimeter at the moment; then connecting a black probe of the multimeter with a core of the SMA head, connecting a black and red probe of the multimeter with a cavity shell of the frequency multiplier, and displaying the starting voltage of another diode string by the multimeter at the moment; and judging whether the performance of the 4-tube core terahertz balanced type frequency tripler is qualified or not according to the numerical values of the two tested starting voltages. The method is simple in process, and unqualified terahertz frequency triplers can be rapidly screened out. |
