titleOfInvention Radiation imager with automatic exposure detection capability and method thereof
abstract A radiation imager with automatic exposure detection capability includes a high voltage circuit unit for providing an operating bias. The image sensing panel comprises a semiconductor laminated structure, receives the operation bias voltage and senses incident X-rays to generate holes and electrons, and the holes generate positive charges for generating images. The automatic exposure detector is coupled with the high voltage circuit unit to transmit the operation bias voltage, and detects the change form of the voltage signal or the current signal generated by the electrons along with the time to determine the starting point and the ending point of the exposure. The control unit is coupled to the high voltage circuit unit, the image sensing panel and the automatic exposure detector, and is configured to perform system control, including obtaining the image signal of the image from the image sensing panel. The imager is coupled to the control unit, receives the image signal of the image, processes the image signal, and displays and stores the image.
