The invention discloses a method for assisted detection of growth traits by CNV molecular markers of cattle PLAG1 gene and its application: using cattle genomic DNA as a template, a real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR method is used to respectively amplify the copy number variation region of the PLAG1 gene and the part of the internal reference gene BTF3 According to the 2- ΔΔCt method, the quantitative results were divided into multi-copy type and normal type, so as to identify the type of copy number variation of the PLAG1 gene in individual cattle. The invention detects the copy number variation closely related to the growth traits of cattle at the DNA level, and the copy number variation can be used as an important candidate molecular marker for the marker-assisted selection of the growth traits of Chinese cattle, and is used to speed up the molecular marker-assisted selection breeding work of the cattle. |
