abstract The invention discloses a preparation method and application of momordica grosvenori flowers in fruit burning and spraying type hookah, which comprises the following steps: (a) the method comprises the following steps of (a) crushing dried fruits of momordica grosvenori medicinal materials → loading sample → adding tap water → standing, soaking for 24-48 h, (b) adopting a water bath heating extraction method (extracting for 1 time) → leaching solution → 400-mesh filter cloth for filtering, sealing and standing to obtain filtrate A, (c) adding 50% ethanol solution → acid precipitation for extraction, and fully stirring → filtrate; (d) concentrating the filtrate A → 55-60 ℃ under reduced pressure for 3h → obtaining a concentrated solution A (relative density rho =1.2918), (e) adding the concentrated solution A → raw material 20% propylene glycol 60g → fully shaking → obtaining the concentrated solution A, wherein the density is determined as follows: rho =1.1286, and (f) obtaining a concentrated solution A which is a natural plant momordica grosvenori extract used for preparing the arabian hookah. The method can effectively improve the aroma quality, aroma quantity, fineness and/or sweet feeling of the hookah, reduce the irritation and/or scorched gas of the flower and fruit burning and sprinkling type Arab hookah, and improve the sensory quality of the hookah.
