titleOfInvention Method for promoting conversion of epinephelus akaara parents to males
abstract The invention provides a method for promoting the conversion of Epinephelus akaara parents to males, which comprises the following steps: grinding radix Morindae officinalis root, stem, and leaf into powder; adding radix Morindae officinalis powder into ethanol-water solution, and heating under reflux for extraction; filtering when the extraction is finished, extracting filter cakes with hot ultrapure water, combining the two filtrates, and concentrating to obtain a morinda officinalis extract; mixing and soaking the morinda officinalis extract and the fish feed through a reagent, and then drying the soaked mixture to 5-8 days to obtain a mixed feed; the mixed feed is fed to the epinephelus akaara with the weight of more than 300g for 2 times in the morning and at the evening, and the epinephelus akaara is intensively cultured for 1 to 3 years in the environment with the water quality illumination intensity of 500 to 1000Lx, the pH value of 8.0, the salinity of 28 to 36 per mill and the dissolved oxygen of more than 7.0 mg/L. By adopting the method, the conversion rate of the parent nature transformation of the male Epinephelus akaara in 3 years reaches 75-90%, and the fertilization rate reaches more than 80%.
