The invention provides a continuous production apparatus and a continuous production method capable of preventing the counter flow of an evaporated component generated during polymerization and reliably performing a continuous solution polymerization reaction. A continuous production apparatus (100) is provided with a housing chamber (2) housing a plurality of reaction tanks (1 a-1 d), wherein a reaction mixture is formed by a polymerization reaction of monomers in a solvent in at least one of the reaction tanks, the reaction tanks (1 a-1 d) are communicated with each other via a gas phase section (4) in the housing chamber (2), the reaction tanks (1 a-1 d) are connected in series, the reaction mixture moves to each reaction tank in series, and the housing chamber (2) is provided with a baffle plate (9) that reduces the cross-sectional area of the gas phase section (4) at or near the boundary of at least one group of adjacent reaction tanks. |
