The present invention relates to sliding systems. Provides a sliding system that can significantly reduce the coefficient of friction in sliding parts by a new combination of chromium nitride film and lubricating oil. The sliding system of the present invention includes a pair of sliding members having opposing sliding surfaces that are relatively movable, and lubricating oil that can be interposed between the opposing sliding surfaces. Furthermore, at least one of the sliding surfaces includes a coating surface coated with a specific chromium nitride film, and the lubricating oil includes an oil-soluble molybdenum compound including molybdenum dialkyldithiophosphate (Mo-DTP). This chromium nitride film is a (111) surface phase obtained when the entire film is 100 atomic % (abbreviated as "%"): Cr: 40 to 65%, N: 35 to 55%, and analyzed by X-ray diffraction The area ratio of the (200) plane, that is, the relative area is 15 to 85%. Moreover, it is preferable to contain 150-800 ppm of Mo-DTP with respect to the Mo content mass of the whole lubricating oil. |
