abstract The invention belongs to the technical field of metal gas-phase rust prevention, and relates to a gas-phase corrosion inhibitor and a preparation method thereof, wherein the gas-phase corrosion inhibitor, in parts by weight, comprises 18.2-25 wt. parts, 15.2-20.8 parts of methylbenzotriazole, 12.5-36.4 parts of ammonium benzoate, and 30.3-41.7 parts of distilled water. The preparation method of the gas phase corrosion inhibitor includes: (1) adding chitosan oligosaccharide quaternary ammonium salt Schiff base, methyl benzotriazole, ammonium benzoate and distilled water into the reaction kettle in sequence, and stirring evenly; Heating; (2) stirring continuously for 0.5-2 hours, standing, and cooling to obtain a gas phase corrosion inhibitor. The gas phase corrosion inhibitor of the invention can effectively inhibit the corrosion of carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, salts, bacteria, etc., and can effectively solve the corrosion problem of CO 2 , H 2 S wet gas medium under different working conditions.
