A method of producing paper, cardboard and cardboard is disclosed. The method includes adding (a) microfibrillated cellulose and (b) at least one co-additive to the wet end of the paper machine. The co-additives are one or more of the following: (1) cationic aqueous dispersion polymers, (2) colloidal silica, (3) bentonite clay, (4) vinylamine-containing polymers or their combination. The invention also relates to paper products produced by this method. |
