titleOfInvention | Optical film, method for producing same, polarizing plate, and liquid crystal display device |
abstract | The invention relates to an optical film and a manufacturing method thereof, a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device. The optical film of the present invention comprises a cycloolefin resin, organic fine particles, and a high boiling point solvent having a boiling point of 90 ℃ or higher, and satisfies the following formulas (1) and (2) when the optical film is heated from 23 ℃ to 180 ℃ at 10 ℃/min and held at 180 ℃ for 10 minutes in a thermo-mechanical analysis measurement, where S1(μm) is an elongation of the optical film in a 1 st direction in which the shrinkage of the optical film is the largest, and S2(μm) is an elongation of the optical film in a 2 nd direction orthogonal to the 1 st direction, and the formulas (1): s1<0< S2 formula (2): i S1/S2I < 3.0. |
