abstract In order to improve hardness, the wearability of composite material, a kind of C/C-ZrC-Cu composite material of reaction infiltration method preparation is devised.Using propylene, PAN based carbon fiber is raw material, and the C/C-ZrC-Cu composite material of obtained reaction infiltration method preparation, hardness, densification degree, bending strength are all increased dramatically.Wherein, use Cu-Zr mixed-powder as infiltrant, the object phase composition of composite material is ZrC, Cu, C and remaining Zr phase.Increase with the mass fraction of Zr in penetration enhancer, the content of ZrC first increases to be reduced again, and the content of remaining Zr phase increases, and the content of Cu phase reduces.There are 2 kinds of distributional patterns for ZrC phase: part ZrC assembles around Carbon fibe forms ZrC clad, and part ZrC particle dispersion is distributed in the rich Cu phase of matrix.When Zr mass fraction increases to 60%, the hardness and bending strength highest of composite material, respectively 181 and 294MPa.The bend fracture of C/C-ZrCCu composite material is pseudoplastic behavior fracture, is improved with Cu phase content, and matrix toughness fracture characteristic is more obvious.The present invention can provide a kind of new production technology to prepare high performance C/C-ZrC-Cu composite material.
