titleOfInvention Surface sizing agent for papermaking and papermaking method for improving paper strength
abstract The invention relates to a surface sizing agent for papermaking and a papermaking method for improving paper strength, wherein the active component of the surface sizing agent is prepared from starch and rice husk powder, and the weight percentage of the starch to the rice husk powder is 99.5-30%: 0.5 to 70 percent. The papermaking method comprises the following steps: preparing a starch solution and a rice hull powder dispersion liquid; mixing the rice hull powder dispersion liquid and the starch solution, and reacting to obtain a surface sizing solution; the concentration of active ingredients in the surface sizing solution is 5-40 wt%; the active ingredients are rice hull powder and starch, and the weight percentage of the starch to the rice hull powder is 99.5-30%: 0.5 to 70 percent; and (3) applying the surface sizing solution to the surface of the raw paper without sizing to obtain a sizing paper sheet, and drying to obtain the paper. When the surface sizing agent is used for papermaking, the strength of the prepared paper is obviously improved, and the COD (chemical oxygen demand) in the recovery of the finished product can be obviously reduced.
