The selenium-enriched Bacillus pumilus strain Bacillus pumilus D1-019 is screened by a densitometry method and a red selenium method, the feed source probiotics of breeding ducks are screened by a step-by-step inorganic selenium resistant screening method, the strain with strong selenium resistance is screened, and the D1-019 is identified as Bacillus pumilus by morphological observation and a 16S rDNA molecular biology identification method. The strain has an organic selenium conversion rate of 100 percent, and the organic selenium content in feed and food is increased within a certain time. As a novel organic selenium source, the selenium-enriched organic selenium can be applied to the fields of feeds, feed leavening agents, foods and health care products.
