abstract The invention provides a ferro-manganese modified algae adsorbent and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of water treatment. The preparation method comprises the following steps: a) adding permanganate into the water body with the algae eruption, and mixing to obtain a solution I; b) adding ferrous salt into the solution I obtained in the step a), mixing, and standing to obtain a solution II; c) centrifuging the solution II obtained in the step b), removing supernatant, and drying the obtained precipitate; d) washing the precipitate dried in the step c) with alkali, centrifuging, washing with ultrapure water to be neutral, drying the treated precipitate, and grinding to obtain the ferro-manganese modified algae adsorbent. The ferro-manganese modified algae adsorbent prepared by the invention is mainly used for removing heavy metal ions in sewage, the preparation method is simple in preparation process and wide in raw material source, the process of separating algae from water is omitted, the resource utilization of algae in algae outbreak water is realized, and no secondary pollution is caused.
