titleOfInvention Photoelectrochemical water splitting
abstract The present invention relates to photoelectrochemical water splitting, and more specifically, an electrode (300, 400, 500) is disclosed. The electrodes (300, 400, 500) include a substrate (302). Furthermore, the electrodes (300, 400, 500) include a first conductive layer (304) disposed on the substrate (302). The first conductive layer (304) is formed of at least one of indium tin oxide (ITO) and fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO). The electrodes (300, 400, 500) also include at least one semiconductor layer (308, 502) disposed on the first conductive layer (304). Furthermore, the electrodes (300, 400, 500) comprise at least one connector (120, 402, 504).
