titleOfInvention Process for continuous synthesis of dimethyl sulfate
abstract A process for continuously synthesizing dimethyl sulfate includes such steps as absorbing the sulfur trioxide and dimethyl ether by coarse dimethyl sulfate in different segments of three-stage esterifying tower, contact reacting to generate dimethyl sulfate, degassing, rectifying to obtain dimethyl sulfate and by-product methyl bisulfate, continuous synthesizing reaction: the continuous synthesis reaction process occurs in a three-stage esterification reaction tower, and the reaction tower is divided into three sections, namely an SO3 absorption section, a dimethyl ether DME absorption esterification section and an aging section. A plurality of tower-level components are arranged in the dimethyl ether DME absorption esterification section and the aging section of the three-level esterification reaction tower and distributed on the inner wall of the tower body of the section area, and the tower-level components are of a fan-shaped structure. The process method for preparing the dimethyl sulfate has simple flow, reduces energy consumption, saves investment cost, avoids the production problems of leakage, overflow, dripping, leakage and the like, provides guarantee for realizing large-scale industrial production and has high purity of the dimethyl sulfate product.
