The woven structure may include a pattern of radiopaque filaments measurable under X-rays. The structure can be heat treated to include a variety of shapes at different temperatures. The woven structure can be expandable for implantation in a vessel. The catheter may comprise a hypotube comprising an interspersed pattern of longitudinally spaced rows of slits, and optionally a balloon. The laser cutting system may include a fluid flow system.
