abstract | The invention belongs to the field of recycling of high polymer materials, and particularly relates to an rABS/PBT/ASG composite material and a preparation method thereof. The method utilizes the characteristic that rABS has carboxyl, hydroxyl and carbonyl, blends rABS and ASG in advance to increase viscosity, enables epoxy groups on ASG molecular chains to react with the carboxyl and the hydroxyl on the rABS, enables acrylonitrile-styrene chain segments in the ASG to be mutually dissolved with the rABS in a thermodynamic mode, and then blends the mixture with PBT to prepare the rABS/PBT/ASG composite material. Among other things, ASG acts as a chain extender and solubilizer throughout the blend. The method overcomes the problems of chain extension and tackifying of PBT and low rABS molecular weight caused by direct blending of rABS and PBT, and can obtain a blending system with smaller dispersed phase particle size and more uniform particle distribution. The blend prepared by the method has good compatibility, the tensile strength, the impact strength and the elongation at break of the composite material are comprehensively improved, the obtained composite material has the advantages of ABS and PBT materials, and the blend has wide application prospect in the field of ABS plastic recycling. |
