titleOfInvention | Self-repairing antibacterial hydrogel based on borate bonds |
abstract | The invention discloses a self-repairing antibacterial hydrogel based on a borate bond. The self-repairing antibacterial hydrogel is prepared from a PEG derivative and polyvinyl alcohol, wherein the PEG derivative is prepared according to a method comprising the following steps: PEG-COOH, boric acid compound containing aldehyde group, organic amine containing hydroxyl and isonitrile through Ugi reaction; PEG-COOH is polyethylene glycol with two end carboxyl groups being blocked. The invention prepares the polyethylene glycol derivative (PEG-Ugi) containing boric acid group and phenol structure through Ugi reaction. When the aqueous solution of PEG-Ugi is mixed with the aqueous solution of PVA, the two react with hydroxyl in the PVA structure through boric acid groups to generate boric acid ester bonds, and hydrogel is quickly formed. The boric acid ester bond belongs to a dynamic chemical bond, and the phenol structure has an antibacterial function, so that the obtained hydrogel has self-repairing capability and antibacterial property, and is a novel antibacterial self-healing hydrogel. The method uses safe, cheap and easily-obtained raw materials to prepare the hydrogel, has simple preparation method and mild gelling conditions, and has better application value. |
