The present invention describes a water-soluble detergent composition in the form of a flexible tablet and a water-soluble detergent tablet. The detergent composition in the form of a flexible tablet comprises a unique mixture of components including: water soluble polymer components, anionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants, water and other components. Once mixed in the proper proportions, these components result in a flexible sheet with detergent properties that can be added directly to laundry receptacles ranging from simple tubs to advanced automatic washing machines. Once the tablet comes into contact with the water in the wash container, the tablet dissolves and releases the active and supplemental ingredients contained therein. |
