abstract | The invention discloses a rice high light efficiency gene HPE1 and its application. The present invention provides the application of any one of the following 1) to 3) in regulating plant height and/or regulating plant photosynthesis: 1) protein HPE1; 2) DNA molecule encoding protein HPE1; 3) A recombinant vector, an expression cassette, a transgenic cell line or a recombinant bacteria containing a DNA molecule encoding the protein HPE1; the HPE1 gene and the protein encoded by the HPE1 gene provided by the present invention can significantly improve the photosynthetic efficiency of rice. The HPE1 gene provided by the present invention is introduced into the mutant to obtain transgenic rice, whose photosynthetic efficiency is obviously higher than that of the mutant. It shows that the invention has important theoretical and practical significance for cultivating new high-light-efficiency rice materials. |
