abstract | The invention discloses a block copolymer and a preparation method thereof, wherein the preparation method comprises the steps of carrying out first contact on isomonoolefin and each component in an initiator system in a diluent to obtain an intermediate solution containing the polyisomonoolefin, wherein the initiator system contains a compound capable of providing carbocation, titanium tetrachloride, N-dimethylacetamide and 2, 6-dialkyl pyridine, the duration of the first contact is 30-100 minutes, carrying out second contact on the intermediate solution, monovinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and optional supplementary 2, 6-dialkyl pyridine to obtain a product solution containing the block copolymer, and the duration of the second contact is 80-110 minutes. The method for preparing the block copolymer can not only obviously improve the content of high molecular weight components in the prepared copolymer, but also ensure that the prepared block copolymer has higher molecular weight; and no gelation occurs in the preparation process. |
