titleOfInvention Method for resolving baclofen salt
abstract The present invention relates to the field of resolving chiral compounds, such as baclofen, in the form of two optical enantiomers (enantiomers). More particularly, the present invention relates to the preparation of the pure (R) (-) baclofen enantiomer, chemically designated (R) -4-amino-3- (4-chlorophenyl) butanoic acid, and its hydrogen maleate salt. More specifically, the present invention relates to the resolution of racemic baclofen hydrogen maleate by preferential crystallization, in particular by the AS3PC method (autoinoculation programmed polyhyrogenic preferential crystallization).
