titleOfInvention | Protein AeZDS and its encoding gene and application |
abstract | The invention discloses the application of a protein AeZDS and its encoding gene in improving the accumulation and stress resistance of plant carotenoids. The present invention provides a protein, which is (a) or (b) as follows: (a) a protein consisting of the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO. 2 in the sequence listing; (b) combining the SEQ ID NO. .2 The amino acid residue sequence shown in 2 has undergone substitution and/or deletion and/or addition of one or several amino acid residues. The gene encoding the protein was introduced into Arabidopsis thaliana, the carotenoid content in the transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana was significantly increased, and the stress resistance of the transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana plants was improved. Carotenoid biosynthesis and stress resistance-related protein AeZDS and its encoding gene have important theoretical significance and practical value in regulating plant carotenoid biosynthesis and stress resistance. |
