titleOfInvention A kind of baking additive suitable for graphite electrode and its preparation process
abstract The invention discloses a baking additive suitable for graphite electrodes and a preparation process thereof. The invention uses Fe 2 O 3 , polyethylene glycol, phthalate and CaCO 3 as baking additives, and Fe 2 O 3 reduces the reduction of graphite electrodes. The scrap rate of graphitization, polyethylene glycol significantly reduces the surface tension and viscosity of coal tar pitch, and improves the infiltration and penetration ability of coal tar pitch to carbonaceous materials. Phthalates act as plasticizers to increase the electrode paste of graphite electrodes and improve the internal structure of graphite electrodes. CaCO 3 changes the air reaction residual rate of graphite electrodes, improves electrode performance, and reduces electrode resistivity and consumption. , the purpose of prolonging the electrode life cycle. The graphite electrode provided by the invention has simple baking process steps, high yield, and the prepared graphite electrode has strong electrical conductivity, low resistivity, low elastic modulus, high bulk density and high flexural strength.
