titleOfInvention Amorphous antimony oxide for adsorbing radioactive strontium-90 and cobalt-60 and preparation method thereof
abstract The invention relates to the field of radioactive element wastewater treatment, in order to solve the problem that the existing organic ion exchanger has poor effect and short service life when it is used to treat low-concentration nuclear radiation wastewater, and the antimony pentoxide prepared by the prior art adsorbs antimony pentoxide. In order to solve the problems such as the small adsorption capacity of the agent to Sr-90, the present invention provides an amorphous antimony oxide for adsorbing radioactive strontium-90 and cobalt-60 and a preparation method thereof. It comprises the following steps: 1) using antimony trichloride and hydrochloric acid as raw materials, weighing and mixing to obtain a mixed solution; 2) placing the mixed solution in a water bath for oxidation, then mixing with a large amount of water for hydrolysis, filtering and separating to obtain a hydrolyzate , the amorphous antimony oxide used to adsorb radioactive strontium-90 and cobalt-60 after drying. The preparation method of the invention is simple and efficient, and part of the raw materials can be recycled; the prepared amorphous antimony oxide has a large specific surface area and a disordered structure, and has strong adsorption to radioisotopes such as Sr-90 and Co-60. Effect.
