The invention introduces the transition metal complex as the cation and the template agent for the first time to synthesize the organic-inorganic hybrid lead iodide compound, the compound can effectively absorb the visible light in the sunlight, has high-efficiency and stable visible light catalytic performance, and can decompose organic pollutants such as rhodamine B and the like under the irradiation of the visible light.
