abstract The invention provides a solid base catalyst and a production process for preparing 4- (2-furyl) -3-butene-2-ketone, wherein the catalyst comprises an alkaline carrier, an active auxiliary agent and a water-resistant auxiliary agent, and the catalyst has the characteristics of easy preparation and low preparation cost. On the other hand, the catalyst and the continuous production process are particularly suitable for preparing 4- (2-furyl) -3-butene-2-ketone by condensing furfural and acetone, can effectively inhibit the occurrence of multiple condensation side reactions, and have high product yield. Meanwhile, the catalyst under the process has the characteristics of high activity, high product selectivity, good water resistance, difficult inactivation and the like.
