The invention relates to a MIL-100(Fe)/BiOCl composite photocatalyst and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the field of preparation of novel nano-catalyst materials. The material synthesis method used in the present invention is a one-step reaction solution method. The specific steps are as follows: first, the trimesic acid and ferric chloride are dissolved in DMF and ethylene glycol water, respectively, and transferred to a round-bottomed flask, and bismuth nitrate pentahydrate is added to it.
