titleOfInvention | Method and collector for urine sampling |
abstract | A urine collector (1) and a method for mounting the urine collector to a toilet bowl. The collector is made of paper sheet and includes a central collection area (20), a front flap (4), a rear (23), two side flaps (3A, 3B) each extending from the central collection area (20) , and two other rear wings (2A, 2B) extending from the rear (23). Each wing (2A, 2B, 3A, 3B) and front flap (4) are provided with adhesive material (6) for securing them to the toilet bowl (5). The urine collector (1) is secured by securing the front flap (4) to the front (5C) of the toilet (5) and the wings (2A, 2B, 3A, 3B) to the edge of the toilet opening (5) Installed on the toilet bowl (5). After collecting the urine (1) in the collection area (20), the front flap is detached from the front of the toilet and lifted slightly, while the side and rear wings are still adhered to the toilet. This allows the collected urine to flow through the rear into a separate sample container. |
