abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush in which the retention and dispersibility of the formulation on the upper part of the toothbrush are excellent, and good foaming can be achieved. In a toothbrush having a handle body with a head (4) at the front end, and a plurality of hair-implantation pores formed on the hair-implantation surface (5) of the head, the hair-implantation surface has a central hair-implantation area and an outer side. Hair-planting area: in the central hair-planting area, a plurality of central hair bundles (12) are arranged in parallel in the axial direction of the handle body, and are implanted in the approximate center in the width direction perpendicular to the axis, and in the outer hair-planting area, in the width direction A plurality of outer hair bundles (22) are implanted so as to sandwich the central hair bundle. The central hair bundle is composed of distal branched hairs having a distal branched portion at the distal end of the main body portion. The value represented by the maximum diameter width of the tip branch portion (12B) in the central hair bundle/the diameter of the hair bundle formed by the main body in the base portion (12A) of the central hair bundle is greater than 1.0 and not more than 2.0. The hair-implantation density obtained by dividing the total number of bristles constituting the distal branch portion by the area of the central hair-implantation region is 1000 hairs/cm 2 or more and 5000 hairs/cm 2 or less. |
