titleOfInvention Preparation method and application of a modified bismuth oxybromide nanomaterial
abstract The invention discloses a preparation method and application of a modified bismuth oxybromide nanomaterial. By adjusting the synthesis conditions of BiOBr, the specific surface area is increased on the basis of changing its morphology, and the adsorption of Cr(VI) in water is enhanced. At the same time, the contact area between the photocatalyst and the pollutants is increased, and the photocatalytic reduction of Cr(VI) is improved. It has a suitable forbidden band width, can absorb visible light, and at the same time can promote the rapid transfer of photogenerated electron holes, reduce the recombination of electron holes, and further improve its photocatalytic efficiency; when used as a catalyst, it can be obtained under the synthesis conditions of pH=6. Photocatalytic materials have strong adsorption and degradation ability to heavy metal Cr(Ⅵ) in wastewater, and can be well applied to the treatment of heavy metals in wastewater no matter in high or low concentration with heavy pollution.
