abstract The invention provides a Chinese cabbage pistil development related gene BrCRF6 and application thereof, belonging to the technical field of plant genetic engineering. The DNA sequence of the Chinese cabbage BrCRF6 is shown as SEQ ID No.1, and the gene artificial miRNA sequence is shown as SEQ ID No. 2. The gene and the artificial miRNA designed aiming at the gene are respectively transferred into the heart of the 'oil green four nine' cabbage by an agrobacterium-mediated method to obtain a transgenic heart strain with BrCRF6 overexpression and suppression expression, and the result shows that the expression change of the BrCRF6 of the Chinese cabbage can cause the heart of the cabbage to have a nested flower phenotype, wherein the phenotype is caused by the fact that the flower meristem continuously maintains the activity of stem cells. This shows that the Chinese cabbage BrCRF6 has close relationship with pistil development, and the gene is applied to the breeding of Chinese cabbage and other horticultural plants, and has good application prospect.
