abstract The invention discloses a full ammonia boron ionic liquid and a preparation method thereof, wherein the preparation method comprises the following steps: dissolving cation chloride salt or bromide salt in an anhydrous methanol, anhydrous ethanol, anhydrous acetonitrile, anhydrous acetone or anhydrous dichloromethane solvent, adding anion sodium salt or silver salt with the molar ratio of the anion salt to the cation salt of 1:2-2:1 in a nitrogen atmosphere, magnetically stirring at room temperature for reaction for 12-28h, filtering, extracting and washing the filtrate, spin-drying, vacuumizing to obtain a product ionic liquid, and testing the spontaneous combustion performance of the ionic liquid by carrying out self-ignition reaction with an oxidant. The all-ammonia boron ionic liquid can spontaneously combust when contacting with a strong oxidant, and a good experimental effect is obtained; the ionic liquid has the advantage of higher energy, and has good application prospect in the aspect of being used as propellant fuel or additive.
