The purpose is to solve the problem that the existing glycidyl ether epoxy resin has poor bonding strength at high temperature. The preparation method of 5-aldehyde resorcinol diglycidyl ether: 1. Put 3,5-dihydroxybenzaldehyde, epoxy bromopropane and catalyst into the reactor, heat up the reaction, steam under reduced pressure, and get concentrated 2. After the temperature of the concentrated solution is cooled, add an organic solvent and metal alkali solid particles, and stir; 3. After the reaction is completed, repeatedly wash with water, and separate the water to remove the water phase, and finally the organic phase is decompressed and distilled to remove the organic solvent, Recycle and reuse to obtain 5-aldehyde resorcinol diglycidyl ether. 5-Aldehyde Resorcinol Diglycidyl Ether is used in the preparation of high temperature epoxy resin adhesives. The epoxy resin adhesive prepared by the 5-aldehyde-based resorcinol diglycidyl ether of the present invention has the characteristics of high temperature resistance.
