The invention discloses a non-quenched and tempered steel for a motor shaft of a new energy electric vehicle and a production method thereof. The chemical composition weight percent (%) ratio of the steel is C: 0.45-0.51, Si: 0.30-0.55, Mn: 1.0 ~1.25, P: ≤0.020, S: 0.010~0.025, Cr: 0.10~0.20, Ni: 0.20~0.30, Al: 0.015~0.035, V: 0.08~0.12, Nb: ≤0.035, Ti: 0.010~0.025, N ; 130~170ppm, the rest are originally Fe. It can be seen from the above method that the non-quenched and tempered steel for a motor shaft of a new energy electric vehicle of the present invention and its production method are strictly controlled through the perfect combination of the optimal design of chemical composition and the controlled rolling and cooling technology (rolling parameters). The smelting process, opening and finishing temperature and cooling method of this formula realize the production of non-quenched and tempered steel for easy-turning high-strength and toughness motor shafts. The developed motor shaft can be highly strengthened and reduce manufacturing costs (saving process costs 20 %) and production cycle (increase production time by 1 day). |
